Blue Cheese Dressing
Blue Cheese Dressing is a favorite of my family’s. It’s creamy, tasty and goes with all sorts of stuff, not to mention that I was practically raised on it.
You couldn’t eat a chicken wing or the accompanying celery sticks without dipping into the obligatory cup of blue cheese. I have a few different versions of this dressing that I make, but this version is the simple and quick, but also provides a pure flavor of this special preparation that’s far better than what you will buy in a jar. Try this on buffalo chicken wings, bread bowl dips, for veggies platters or on your next salad. Inside info, I even dip my pizza in blue cheese dressing.
Now, it will most likely take you longer to read this than make it, but here we go.
Go ahead and take the first 7 ingredients and place them in your mixing bowl.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and then mix by hand until smooth. It’ll be quick so you don’t need any special equipment for this.
After all the ingredients are mixed and smooth, add the blue cheese crumbles.
Fold in until incorporated.
Now you’re ready to enjoy with your favorite veggies or on that crisp salad.
This blue cheese dressing should keep in the fridge for a week, but I don’t think you will have a problem with that. Just remember this is a fresh dressing and will not stay as thick as the day you made it. Enjoy!
