Ingredients

  • 25-35 each Chicken Wings
  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger grated
  • 1/2 cup Honey

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken wings if need be and add to a zip lock bag.

  2. In a separate bowl mix the juice, teriyaki, honey and freshly grated ginger and then pour half in the bag over the chicken wings. Squeeze to mix and then seal bag eliminating all air in the bag. Allow to marinate up to 8 hours or overnight.

  3. Remove from bag, discarding marinade, and place on preheated grill set to low to medium-low. Grill for about 25-35 minutes turning a few times to prevents over caramelization.

  4. While the wings are grilling, mix the reserved marinade with 1/3 cup sugar. Set on stove and bring to boil. Once the marinade is boiling, reduce heat and simmer until sauce begins to thicken. You can use the glaze to add more POW to your backyard tropical feast.

Recipe Notes

Use a high quality pineapple juice. The better the juice, the better the flavor.

The longer you marinate the wings, the more flavor they will soak up. Try not to allow to marinate over 24hrs.
